Meeting dates and guest speakers are advertised in the local papers and on commercial and community radio. Members receive a newsletter via post or email and copies of other community newsletters, leaflets, books and DVDs on prostate cancer and associated problems are available to borrow at meetings or by contacting the above.

We hold information days at our local shopping malls, giving out free information and fundraising through a raffle. These days are always very well supported by our members who are available to answer questions in confidence and offer support. We also sponsor an annual golf day at Tully Park, which this year (May 2008) turned out to be a beautiful sunny day and very successful.

Our meetings are open to all members of the public and we vigorously encourage wives or partners to attend as well.

The meeting room at the McDermott Centre is located in a lovely old building in the CBD and all people attending are assured of a warm, friendly welcome followed by afternoon tea!
