Meeting dates and guest speakers are advertised in the local paper. Members receive a newsletter via post or email and copies of other community and
support goup’s newsletters and leaflets. A library of books and DVDs on prostate cancer and associated conditions is available to be borrowed at meetings.
We hold information days locally and Men’s Health evenings at local RSL clubs, giving out free information.
Our meetings are always very well supported by our members who are available to answer questions in confidence and offer support We have a panel of members who give freely of their own experiences, often
personally by phone to newly diagnosed visitors to alert them to the many options available.
Our meetings are open to all members of the public and we encourage wives or partners to attend.
Meetings room:
We meet in the hall of the Uniting Church, Seddon St, Ivanhoe. Parking is available in a large public parking area at rear of church. Ivanhoe railway station is nearby.
Meeting Dates:
We meet on the second Wednesday of the month, from 10.00 – 12.00, with a ‘cuppa’ mid-meeting allowing face-to-face discussion for visitors if preferred.
