The group formed in approximately 1997, out of the need found for such type of group. Harry Heathcote had just been diagnosed with prostate cancer and sought assistance from the Cancer Council Tasmania and with the assistance of Maureen Ramsden the group was formed.

- Attend functions as guest speakers.

- Some member are Cancer Connect trained.

- Participate in Relay For Life.
 

Meeting room location:

Upstairs meeting room at the Cancer Council Tasmania, Shop 5 / 216 Charles St - Jimmy's Complex, Launceston.

Meeting Dates:

1st Tuesday of each month @ 10:30am

**Please note that meetings are not held in the following months - December, due to Christmas function & January - holidays.
