Meetings are held each month (except December and January), and are a friendly and welcoming forum where men with prostate cancer, their families and friends can
keep up to date with information provided by speakers from the health professions, and can also share personal experiences in a caring and informal environment.
Light refreshments are provided free at each meeting, and everyone is invited to stay on after the guest speaker’s presentation to enjoy a cuppa, sandwich and a chat.
One on one personal and telephone support is also provided by specially trained members.
There is no charge for membership, and members may register on a mailing list to receive general information and notice of meetings, advising details of the speaker and topic to be covered at the next monthly
meeting.
Members also have access to an extensive library of publications, booklets and DVD’s on Prostate Cancer and associated treatment/recovery issues relevant to their individual circumstances.
Everyone is welcome to attend the group, and it is not a requirement to have been treated at Royal North Shore Hospital.
Meeting Dates:
The group meets 4pm – 6pm on the third Thursday of each month (except December and January) in the Radiation Oncology Conference Room, Building 36, Level 1, Royal North Shore Hospital, Pacific Highway, St.
