The support group was established in 1994 to provide support and information to prostate cancer patients and their families,to act as a forum for prostate cancer topics,to provide access to prostate cancer information and to contribute towards community awareness of the group and its role. The group is affiliated with PCFA and sponsored by Maroondah City Council and Department of Human Services.

Our group publishes and distributes a monthly newsletter and this includes details of our monthly meeting dates and details of any guest speakers. Our meetings provide an opportunity to discuss prostate cancer issues,to exchange experiences and ideas and provide support to prostate cancer patients and their families, supporters, carers and friends before during and after treatment.
Our meetings are open to all and wives/partners/carers/family members are encouraged to attend.
We have a range of leaflets,pamphlets,books DVDs on prostate cancer and associated issues which are both informative and relevant to men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their families. These are available for borrowing either at our meeting or by contacting one of our contact members shown above.

Meeting Details:
Our group meets at 7pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month from January to November in the Ringwood room at the Ringwood library. The meetings conclude at 9pm. Meeting dates and times may be confirmed by contacting one of our contact members shown above.
