These groups are a great help to the majority of prostate cancer patients and their partners. The main reasons for being a member is support, information and meeting others in similar situations. The meetings are a mixture of general discussions and talks by qualified people. Several groups exist in South Australia, the Adelaide Group which meets at the Fularton Park Centre with others at, The Barossa, Mitcham, McLaren Vale, Prostate Cancer Support City of Onkaparinga Group and Port Pirie.
