Due to new drugs and therapies, men with advanced prostate cancer are living longer than they did a decade ago. But they are living with advanced cancer and the debilitating side effects of their treatments. To design better supportive care for these men, Prof Suzanne Chambers' research group have conducted in-depth interviews with men with advanced prostate cancer. The results of these interviews are a patient-centred understanding of what men with advanced prostate cancer want and need from supportive care in Australia.
