Hansa Products has given their C7 Chipper a timely makeover, turning it a bright shade of blue this September to coincide with Prostate Cancer Awareness month.

For every blue C7 Chipper sold across Australia between September 1 and November 30, $100 will be donated to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).

Hansa spokesperson Martin Vogel encouraged Australians to back to cause to help raise funds for research and support services.

Across Australia, more than 26,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year – around 72 men a day.

“The statistics are sobering and inspired us to get on board and do what we can to help raise funds for PCFA’s work locally,” Mr Vogel said.

“For us, it’s about more than building machines. Behind every chipper is someone’s dad, brother, partner or mate. Too many of them are impacted by prostate cancer, and often the hardest part is starting the conversation.

“Sometimes, seeing something different – like a bright blue chipper – is all it takes to spark that chat and encourage someone to book a check-up with their GP.”

The limited-edition C7 Chippers can be purchased via local dealers. Visit https://www.hansaproducts.com/au for more information.

PCFA’s CEO, Anne Savage, commended Hansa for helping men improve their health and wellbeing.

“Hansa’s efforts go a long way to promoting prostate cancer awareness and getting an important conversation started about early detection,” Ms Savage said.

“Locals can support the cause by purchasing a C7 Chipper and drive forward life-saving research and improve survival outcomes for the 1 in 5 Australian men who are likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.

“We also encourage all men to use Prostate Cancer Awareness Month as an opportunity to chat with their GP about early detection. A simple PSA blood test could help save your life.”
