We’re pleased to welcome Will Vallely, who has joined Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia as our new Head of Advocacy & Partnerships.
Driven by a strong commitment to long-lasting change, Will was drawn to the opportunity to help improve outcomes for Australian men and their families.
"I want to be able to help create long-lasting change for Australian men and their families impacted by prostate cancer.
Will brings extensive experience across communications, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, media, partnerships, and government relations, having spent seven years at Bendigo Health, most recently as Director of Corporate Affairs.
For Will, the prostate cancer landscape in Australia presents both complexity and opportunity.
“The prostate cancer landscape in Australia is as complex as it is misunderstood, which creates lots of exciting opportunities to improve awareness, care, and support for prostate cancer sufferers.”
In his new role, Will is most looking forward to helping change prevailing perspectives and attitudes towards prostate cancer, both across society and among decision makers.
“Meaningful impact is helping create a system where effective prostate cancer screening, diagnostics, access to medicines, trials, treatment, and care are available to all Australian men and their families.”
Will is looking forward to working with the PCFA team, partners, and the wider community to strengthen advocacy and support for those impacted by prostate cancer.
