Overview

This Advanced Prostate Cancer group has been operating in various forms since 2010. After COVID-19 the group graduated from a monthly telephone hookup to a monthly Zoom meeting, both modes being expertly managed by two Queensland veterans, Jim Marshall and Nev Black.

Critical questions about treatment options and side effects and highly informative responses for discussion with members’ medical teams have always been central to this group’s ethos –‘Patient empowerment through increasing knowledge and mateship’. This month the baton is passing from the group’s founders to a new committee, which is keen to keep the membership growing, both in the number of participants and in the benefits the group can bring to all members.

Meeting notices will be published on the Prostate Cancer Support Australia Facebook Group page and by email invitation to those on our email list – which members can join by emailing their name, state, town / suburb and mobile number to the following: apcn.ross@gmail.com.
