Did you know that 'below the belt' cancers account for more than 27,500 cancers in Australia each year? That's about one in every five cancers diagnosed annually. They include prostate cancer (the most common cancer in Australia), testicular cancer (the most common cancer amongst young men), bladder cancer and kidney cancer.

The Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate (ANZUP) Cancer Trials Group has announced that national experts, including Professor Ian Davis, Dr Dickon Hayne and Professor Suzanne Chambers, author of "Facing the Tiger: A Guide for Men with Prostate Cancer and the People who Love them", will participate in ANZUP’s fourth annual Community Engagement Forum, A LITTLE BELOW THE BELT, in Brisbane on Sunday 10 July.

ANZUP Chair Professor Ian Davis said the free community forum will provide information and the opportunity to discuss the importance of clinical trials and the impact that a diagnosis of 'below the belt' cancers can have on a person and their family.

Why not take the opportunity to engage with an experienced team of presenters to learn about ANZUP and its research as a cooperative clinical trials group? Hear more about ANZUP's world-leading studies and the most up-to-date clinical trials including ENZAMET and ENZARAD.

Engage in personal experiences about what it is like to participate in a clinical trial. Learn how to manage your clinical trial experience within your treatment centre, and listen to valuable advice on using the internet and social media to obtain reputable health information.

ANZUP is committed to conducting high-quality clinical research to improve the lives of people with urogenital and prostate cancers. We invite you to attend the forum and encourage registration to ensure your place on the day.
