Sally is an experienced nurse leader with a broad range of expertise in both clinical and management roles.  Sally established the Prostate Cancer Specialist Nursing Service in the Southern Adelaide Health Care Network in 2014 and has a passion for ensuring quality care and support is provided for men living with prostate cancer and their families.

PCFA CEO, Jane Endacott, said “Sally will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Director, Nursing Programs role.  In a career spanning 30 years, she has held a number of senior nursing positions in the healthcare industry and has significant experience directly caring for men with prostate cancer and their families.  Sally is very well known and respected in the prostate cancer community and is committed to empowering and supporting specialist nurses to provide quality care in their communities.

“We have no doubt that under Sally’s leadership, we will continue to expand the Prostate Cancer Specialist Nursing Service, where we place prostate cancer specialist nurses in a variety of Australian health care settings in partnership with health service providers. Our nurses are a vital source of support for men and their families, guiding them through the whole cancer journey."

In accepting the appointment, Sally said “I am passionate about caring for men living with prostate cancer and their families.  It is such an honour to be given the opportunity to lead the Nursing Program for the PCFA which supports prostate cancer specialist nurses in a wide range of sites across Australia.  The nurses who perform these much-needed roles are highly skilled and dedicated to the pursuit of improving the outcomes for men with prostate cancer, their partners, families and communities.”
